Bio
Timothy L. Stevenson, along with Brad and Mike, founded Sowell, Stevenson & Steidl in 2015. Prior to founding the firm, Tim practiced in the areas of general civil litigation and personal injury for two years as an attorney, and for three years prior to passing the bar.
Today, Tim primarily practices in the areas of personal injury (car wrecks, dog bites, slip-and-falls) and as a representative to policyholders who have issues with either commercial or personal insurance claims. He has extensive experience resolving cases that other lawyers (or even the client) believe are too difficult, time consuming, or complicated. Through his practice, Tim seeks to make a bad situation as easy as possible.
Timothy L. Stevenson was raised in Easton, Maryland, graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, and then received a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
In his down time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and cheering for the University of Michigan Wolverines.

Clients' Main Concerns
-
They are overwhelmed – they do not know how to pay for medical treatment or what steps to take to ensure they get the most money from the insurance company of the person who caused their injuries.
How to Address Clients' problems
- We do paperwork, deal with adjusters, explain the process of what needs to happen – everything other than going to the doctor.
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and attorneys, so that they understand the practical implications of developments.
- If needed, we are not afraid to litigate cases in state or federal courts to maximize recovery for clients.
