Attorney Michael Steidl first arrived in Bowling Green in 2000 to attend Western Kentucky University. He received a 4-year ROTC scholarship and studied Political Science and Criminalogy. It was at this time that Mike began to develop a passion for the law. Mike graduated in 2004 with summe cum laude honors and as a distinguished military graduate. He also received his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Mike served 5 years in the Army including two tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and obtained the rank of Captain before leaving the service.
Upon exiting the Army, Mike returned to Bowling Green and Western Kentucky University to obtain his Masters in Business Administration in 2010. Mike attend the University of Tennessee School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2013. Mike focused his studies on criminal law, litigation, employee benefits and creditor / debtor relationship. He also clerked for the United States District Attorney’s office in Knoxville as well as the Knox County District Attorney’s office. While at the Knox County DA’s office, Mike was able to prosecute several DUI cases where he gained invaluable litigation and trial experience.
Mike returned to Bowling Green in 2013 as an associate attorney for Gary S. Logsdon & Associates. After being admitted for less than two weeks, Mike conducted his first criminal trial. Since that time, he has defended dozens of defendants throughout South Central Kentucky. Mike has also successfully represented clients in child custody and support cases, divorces, personal injury and workers compensation. Mike is devoted to providing the best service for his clients. Mike also has experience in handling bankruptcy, employment law issues and property disputes.
When Mike is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Mary, a native of Bowling Green, and their two children. He also enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team and volunteering at his church.
